Lime CRM
Your Lime CRM,connected once for everyone.
A workspace admin connects Trale to your Lime application with one API key. Each colleague is matched to their own Lime user, so what Trale writes to Lime carries the right name.
What connecting does
One connection for the whole workspace.
A Lime API key belongs to an API user, so an admin connects once and every colleague works through it.
Connections
Everyone writes as themselves.
Each colleague is matched to their Lime user by email when the workspace connects, so notes and tasks carry the right coworker.
The key is checked before it is saved.
Trale asks Lime whether the key works and says why if Lime refuses it. Replace the key under Connections.
Connections
Good to know
- Where is the API key stored?
- Encrypted in Trale's vault, readable only by Trale's servers. Nobody in the workspace sees it again, admins included.
- What can Trale reach in Lime?
- What the API user you created may reach. Give it the groups it needs in Lime Admin and nothing more.
- What happens when we disconnect?
- Trale deletes the key and every colleague's match at once. Nothing in Lime is changed.
Two steps to connect
- 1Lime AdminUsers
Create an API user in Lime.Admin
Add a user of type API to the Users group and generate its API key.
- 2Connections
Connect in Trale.Admin
A workspace admin pastes the application URL and the API key.
